About me

I‘ve had a passion for plants from an early age and my greatest joy is to help clients with their gardens – whether it is with a newly landscaped garden or re-vamping a section at a time.

I have fond memories, as a little girl, of my mom and I walking around her garden, discussing what she was planning for certain sections and teaching me the names of different plants.

I think that’s where my passion for plants began! My best outing ever was a trip to the nursery or a visit to a Sunday show garden – it always lifted my spirits!

Beautiful gardens energize me! After the birth of my first child, I decided to follow my passion, so that I too, could create beautiful gardens.

I went to study Landscaping part-time at Lifestyle College. Being a qualified school teacher, and majoring in Zoology and Botany, I had a good grounding.

I now have over 10 years of experience and my greatest joy is to help clients with their gardens – whether it is with a newly landscaped garden or re-vamping a section at a time, so that they can embrace the beauty of their garden and enjoy the things growing around them, just as I have had the pleasure of experiencing.

My love of gardening can be summed up in this poem.

My garden is a haven
From a world of weary care.
There’s always utter freedom
And sweet contentment there.
My garden is an ally, it helps consistently,
When a problem takes me captive, my garden sets me free!
My garden is a teacher with qualities galore,
Providing many lessons, I’d be foolish to ignore.
My garden is a ruler, requiring understanding;
Sometimes quiet and gentle; sometimes so demanding.
My garden is a gallery of infinite delight,
Displaying many pictures that are classic in their right.
My garden’s an oasis and it’s wonderful to find
My little piece of Eden, can bring such peace of mind.
